Verification policy

How we verify Jaisalmer travel guidance

We do not sell rankings. A page can be useful before every claim is perfect, but uncertainty must be visible.

What counts as verified

Verified means a claim has a visible source path: a local observation, a reader report with usable detail, a price range checked against recent context, an official contact, or a named editorial check. It does not mean every number is permanent.

How prices are checked

Prices are published as ranges because Jaisalmer rates move with season, group size, route, vehicle type, camp quality, and seller. We separate the unit, inclusions, taxes, transfers, and timing wherever possible.

How reader reports are handled

Reader reports are useful when they include date, place, seller type, quote, inclusions, and what happened next. We do not publish a single report as a final rule, but we do use repeated patterns to update warnings and planning notes.

What remains a planning estimate

A planning estimate is a useful range or warning that still needs traveler-side confirmation before payment. We keep uncertainty visible when a price, route, operator detail, or seasonal condition can change.

How to send a correction

Send the exact page, the line that needs correction, the date of your visit or quote, and any proof you can share. We prefer specific corrections over general praise or complaints.

Send a correction

Corrections are easiest to use when they include a date, location, quote, bill, map pin, or exact wording from the page.
