Day 1City

Fort, havelis, lake

Day 2Desert

Sam or Khuri camp/safari

Day 3Add-on

Kuldhara, Tanot, Longewala, or food walk

Watch-outs

  • Tanot and Longewala require a real driving day; do not squeeze them into a late afternoon.
  • If staying in the desert on day two, plan the day-three pickup clearly.
  • Keep elders and children out of harsh afternoon heat.

Day 1: settle into the city

Use the first day for the fort, havelis, local food, and lake. This gives context before the desert and avoids rushing on arrival.

Day 2: desert with better timing

Leave after lunch for Sam or Khuri, do the safari in the sunset window, and stay overnight if the camp is verified and fits your comfort level.

Day 3: choose one meaningful extension

Pick Tanot/Longewala for border history, Kuldhara/Bada Bagh for shorter heritage stops, or food/market time if you prefer a slow final day.
